Job Title: Senior Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist - Lead Physio SPARC Greystones

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert physiotherapy services to our clients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Additionally, the role will include administrative duties such as organizing in-house continuing professional development (CPD) and liaising with administrative staff. This role will be based in Greystones 3-4 days per week running our services here and being the main point of contact in this clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal and sports injuries and develop appropriate treatment plans

  • Provide expert hands-on physiotherapy treatments and interventions

  • Utilize a range of assessment and treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans

  • Work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, coaches, and other healthcare professionals

  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining their conditions and treatment plans in a clear and understandable manner

  • Organize and deliver in-house CPD sessions for the physiotherapy team.

  • Effectively contribute to the training and up skilling of other team members.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of new services within the clinic group.

  • Liaise with administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, billing, and patient communication

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy through continuing education and professional development.

  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures to improve the quality of care delivered by the clinic.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy

  • Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment

  • Strong administrative and computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records and billing systems

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

  • Strong history of progressive self development
