Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist with a Special Interest in Women's Health
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Job Type: Full-time but will also consider flexible work & part time for a suitable candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist with a special interest in Women's Health to join our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Practice in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field of Women's Health Physiotherapy and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on Women's Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on Women's Health, including pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, prolapse, and diastasis recti
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and the latest research in Women's Health Physiotherapy
- Provide patient education on preventative measures and home exercise programs
- Communicate effectively with patients, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct group classes and individual consultations focused on Return to Sport Postpartum
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and maintain current knowledge in the field of Women's Health Physiotherapy
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree in Physiotherapy and a current license to practice in Ireland
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field of Women's Health Physiotherapy
- Experience working with female athletes and Return to Sport Postpartum
- Knowledge and expertise in Diastasis Rectus Abdominis and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with the latest research and techniques in Physiotherapy
