Job Title: performance rehabilitation Physiotherapist with pilates
Job Summary: We are seeking a Performance Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert physiotherapy services to our clients, in predominantly a rehabilitation setting while also including diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. The successful candidate will also undertake a number of pilates classes each week
In 2024, we are expanding our Rathfarnham-Knocklyon location and we are looking for physiotherapists to join this journey. We have exciting plans in situ to increase our services to further enhance the offering we give to our patients in both chartered physiotherapy and in sports performance environments. In addition to this we are looking at further services in both Greystones and Sandyford.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Rehab Services to both elite and recreational athletes in team environments and also on an indiviudal basis.
To provide structured group training for Long term Athlete Rehabiliation including post operative hip, knee, ankle and shoulder.
To provide objective feedback, testing and assessment to our athletes on their rehabilitation journey.
To contribute to the long term health and well being of our clients @SPARC through our rehabilitation pathway training programmes
Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal and sports injuries and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide expert hands-on physiotherapy treatments and interventions
Provide Physiotherapy Led Pilates
Utilize a range of assessment and treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans
Work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, coaches, and other healthcare professionals
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining their conditions and treatment plans in a clear and understandable manner
Organize and deliver in-house CPD sessions for the physiotherapy team.
Contribute to the development and execution of new services within the clinic group.
Liaise with administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, billing, and patient communication
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy through continuing education and professional development.
Contributing to the development of policies and procedures to improve the quality of care delivered by the clinic.
Requirements:
Degree in Physiotherapy.
CORU & ISCP Registered (or in process of)
Pilates Qualification or an ability to be qualified before August 2024
Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Strong administrative and computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records and billing systems
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Strong history of progressive self development
