Sínead Nolan
musculoskeletal & sports PHYSIOTHERAPIST
(Bsc in Physiotherapy), MISCP- Chartered Physiotherapist)
Sinéad graduated First-in-Class with a First Class Honours in Physiotherapy in University College Dublin in 2017. She began her career in the Sports Surgery Clinic, Santry, where she gained invaluable experience in both sports and post-operative rehabilitation.
Sinéad has a particular love for GAA, and holds a Senior Dublin Camogie Championship medal with St. Judes GAA, and an All-Ireland Junior Camogie Championship medal with Dublin Camogie. With first hand experience of the heartbreak of injury, Sinéad is passionate about helping players return to play and peak performance.
In 2019 Sinéad moved to Perth, Australia, where she worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in private practice. Here, she trained as a clinical pilates instructor, becoming particularly interested in the use of clinical pilates as a gateway to progression in the early stages of rehabilitation, and its role in injury prevention.
While in Australia, Sinéad worked with a wide range of athletes including AFL, netball and cricket athletes, surfers and runners, while also working closely alongside Greenwood GAA. During this time she won a Western Australia Ladies football Championship, Western Australia Camogie Championship and completed the Great Ocean Road Half Marathon.
Sinéad has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including youth, adolescent, club level and elite athletes, recreational athletes, and the non-sporting population. Sinéad is passionate about affording clients of all levels of physical activity and all ages, from those with no exercise experience to elite athletes, the opportunity to maximise their physical health and function, and to manage their pain.
